Hason Sandhu, Managing Director
Hason has more than seven years exposure to SEO, initially as a volunteer mentor before taking on responsibility for managing the programme. Prior to joining SEO he worked as a senior consultant for Bain & Company, the strategic management consultancy firm. At Bain Hason worked in the private equity practice covering Financial Services, TMT, Healthcare and Sports.
Hason began his City career at Clifford Chance, where he qualified as a solicitor in the corporate practice. Hason completed his Law degree at Oxford University in 1996 and went on to Guildford Law School to complete his CPE the following year.
Krishna Shah, Associate Director
Krishna joined SEO in 2008 from Lehman Brothers and participated in the SEO programme in 2004, interning at Lehman in the Fixed Income division before joining there full-time in 2005. At Lehman, she worked in the Foreign Exchange department for three years, trading FX Forwards and Short Term Interest Rate products. Krishna received an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College.
Namrata Shanbhag, Programme Manager
Namrata joined SEO in September 2010. Prior to joining SEO she was an Associate at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division. She started her career in the New York office in 2006, and subsequently moved to the London office in 2008. At Goldman Sachs, Namrata focused on advising banks on balance sheet restructuring and risk management strategies. She also interned at Goldman Sachs in the summer of 2005 in the Special Situations Group. Namrata holds a dual-undergraduate degree - BA in Mathematics from Mount Holyoke College, USA and a BE in Bio-medical Engineering from Dartmouth College, USA.
Uche Ezichi, Programme Manager
Uche joined SEO in August 2011. Prior to joining SEO he worked as an Associate with HSBC within the Structured Finance group, focusing on asset backed finance. He subsequently moved to Human Resources and joined the Goldman Sachs Global Leadership and Diversity team where he focused on diversity recruiting and leadership development initiatives and also worked at Morgan Stanley focusing on diversity recruiting. He is a qualified Life Coach, an Inspirational Speaker and has published his first book titled Your Career, Your Responsibility: the road map to internship and early career success. Uche graduated from Bristol University with a BSc in Economics and Finance.
Naomi Jane, Programme Manager
Naomi joined SEO in July 2011 to head up the SEO London Scholars Programme. Prior to joining SEO she founded and directed the 4WD Foundation, a social enterprise specialising in creative personal development projects for young people in London. Naomi is an energetic presenter, public speaker and specialist youth trainer. She is a fellow of the RSA, a member of the Channel 4 Educational Advisory Board, a Trustee of the Donald Chesworth Educational Trust and a school Governor. Naomi graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with a BSc Hons in Management and has completed leadership training programmes with WYSE International and Common Purpose.
Edith Chui, Programme Manager
Edith joined SEO in September 2011. Prior to joining SEO, she worked for 5 years in the Audit Department of Deloitte London office, where she qualified as an ACA Chartered Accountant. During her time at Deloitte she volunteered as an SEO mentor for 2 summers. She also did a 5-month secondment in the Audit Learning Department, where she gained numerous experience in facilitating internal training courses, and was in charge of managing and developing several courses including the new audit joiners’ training programme. Edith graduated from the University of Bath with an MMath (Master of Mathematics) in 2006.
Akua Ampofo-Twumasi, Office Manager
Akua joined SEO in September 2010 following a year of voluntary work with JUMP2K Charity. Here, she lent her efforts and time to a team which invests in enabling young people in and around the borough of Lewisham to take better advantage of opportunities in education and employment. Akua coordinated a young girls' (11-16) project where the focus was to provide an alternative to the raging reports of female criminal and anti-social behavior while simultaneously supporting them through a period in their lives that can be alienating and confusing. She graduated from SOAS in 2009 with a degree in Linguistics.
Shakirat Giwa, Recruitment Coordinator
Shakirat joined SEO in June 2011 from Chase Portland Ltd, who specialise in providing recruitment services to the Legal profession. During her time at Chase Portland Ltd, she oversaw the day-to-day running of the consultancy, undertaking various administrative tasks. She often liaised with candidates (mainly qualified Solicitors in England and Wales) and clients ranging from small or mid sized firms to Magic Circle, Silver Circle and US firms with offices in London. She completed her LLB Law degree at the University of Westminister in 2009.
Audrey Chirochangu, Programme Coordinator
Audrey joined SEO in July 2011. Prior to joining SEO, she was an intern at Llyods Banking Group working in HR reviewing Performance Management. Before that she also interned at UBS Investment Bank working in Operations Foreign Exchange and Cash Collateral Trading. Audrey graduated from City University in 2010 with a BSc Hons in Economics and an MBA from Sunderland University in 2011.
Munal Mehta, Programme Coordinator
Munal joined SEO in September 2011. Prior to joining SEO Munal interned at Aggreko International in Dubai and was based in their commercial department. Subsequent to that Munal has also interned at a various London-based law firms and completed an internship in Beijing at a Chinese law firm. Munal completed her Law degree at the University of Southampton in 2010 and went on to The College of Law to complete her LPC the following year.
